Robo Avengers have been actively engaging in community outreach and supporting the FIRST TECH ecosystem in several ways:
1. FLL & Robofest Mentorship: The team helped elementary school students at an FLL and Robofest competition with robot builds and offered encouragement, focusing on learning and teamwork over winning, while also recruiting new members.
2. Event Support: Robo Avengers assisted with Robo Fest, providing technical support for field setup and serving as referees during robot matches.
3. Team Collaboration: They worked with the FTC team Hydro Hackers from Northville, MI, to program and test autonomous code, fostering knowledge exchange and teamwork.
4. FRC Support: Our local FRC team, Lightning Robotics, helped us with a lot of the build and coding of our robot, especially with our custom built claw. We are very thankful to all of the FRC mentors who helped us out on our journey.
4. Fundraising: Robo Avengers successfully raised funds by reaching out to both local and international businesses, securing key sponsors such as Qualfon, Kenz Coffee, and others, in exchange for promoting their logos on team t-shirts and social media.
